Wall and centre seal with half hollow chamber and short glass insertion

This gap seal is particularly well suited for use between a glass door and a fixed side panel or glass and wall, especially with a small gap width and fittings protruding on the inside.

The centre seal was designed with an open hollow chamber for toughened safety glass (ESG) with a thickness of either exactly 6 mm or exactly 8 mm and is used for direct attachment to glass edges of frameless glass showers. Before purchasing, please check the exact glass thickness of your shower door or the corresponding side element, as this profile is not suitable for a range of 6-8 mm, but for exactly 6 mm or exactly 8 mm glass thickness. A precise measurement is necessary to determine the correct variation.

The sealing fin is made of transparent textured soft PVC and the area of the glass insertion is made of transparent satin rigid PVC. The short glass insertion of this seal is only approx. 5 mm.

These extremely durable profiles are manufactured from two different PVC thicknesses – a rigid and a soft component – in a transparent-clear finish. Each profile ensures a reliable and tight seal and visually blends perfectly into your bathroom.

We offer this profile in a total length of 200 cm. You can easily and precisely cut this shower enclosure sealing strip to your required length and install it without special tools, for example with standard anvil shears, a PUK saw, or mitre shears.

Care tip: The shower seal should only be cleaned with chlorine-free, non-alkaline cleaning agents. Avoid using abrasive cleaners and solvents to maintain the longevity of the material and to preserve the transparent design and water repellency in the long term. Lukewarm water combined with soft microfibre cloths is ideal for this.
