This hollow chamber shower door seal helps keep water inside your shower enclosure by creating a reliable barrier between glass doors, fixed glass panels or a glass panel and the wall. The flexible hollow chamber creates a barrier against splashes while allowing the shower door to open and close smoothly. When fitted between a shower door and a fixed glass panel, the seal allows the door to open both inwards and outwards. This replacement shower seal is suitable for glass thicknesses of 4–5mm.

The shower seal combines rigid PVC for a secure grip on the glass with a soft, flexible hollow chamber that helps close the gap between adjoining surfaces. Its clear finish blends in with modern glass shower enclosures, drawing attention away from the seal itself. The durable PVC construction makes it a practical replacement for worn or damaged shower door seals.

Product specifications

  • Glass thickness: 4–5mm
  • Length: 200cm
  • Material: Rigid and flexible PVC
  • Application: Between a shower door and a fixed glass panel, two shower doors, or a glass panel and the wall
  • Special feature: Allows inward and outward opening when fitted between a shower door and a fixed glass panel

Easy installation

The 200cm hollow chamber shower seal can be shortened to match the height of your shower door or glass panel. Simply measure the required length and carefully trim the seal using suitable cutting tools, such as mitre shears, an anvil cutter or a fine-toothed saw. Once cut to size, push the shower seal onto the edge of the compatible glass panel. The rigid PVC section provides a firm grip, while the flexible hollow chamber helps seal the gap between the adjoining surfaces. Before installation, check the thickness of your shower glass and make sure the shape of the replacement seal matches your existing shower enclosure.

Care instructions

Clean your hollow chamber shower seal regularly using lukewarm water and a soft microfibre cloth to remove soap residue and everyday dirt. Avoid abrasive cleaners, solvents and products containing chlorine or alkaline ingredients, as these may damage the PVC material and affect its transparent appearance.
