This vertical gap seal is particularly well suited for use between a glass door and a fixed side panel or glass and wall, especially with a small gap width and fittings protruding on the inside.

The carrier material (U-piece, which is pushed onto the glass) is made of transparent satin rigid PVC and is only 5 mm high. The centre seal, also known as a sealing fin, is made of transparent textured soft PVC and reaches a length of either 16.5 mm together with the carrier. Due to the soft PVC component, the shower seal hugs the glass and offers elasticity and flexibility.

Important note: Before purchasing this centre seal, please check the exact glass thickness of your shower door or the corresponding side element. This sealing profile is not suitable for 6-8 mm glass thickness, but only for the exact glass thickness of 8 mm. A particularly precise measurement is necessary to determine the correct variation.

These extremely durable profiles are manufactured from two different PVC thicknesses – a rigid and a soft component – in a transparent-clear finish. Each profile ensures a reliable and tight seal and visually blends perfectly into your bathroom.

This profile has a total length of 200 cm. A technical drawing with the corresponding dimensions is stored for each item in our shop. Attaching the seal to your glass element is very easy and uncomplicated: simply pull off the old seal, clean the glass and push on the newly purchased gap seal. You do not need a professional for this. For cutting, use, for example, anvil shears, a PUK saw or mitre shears.

For further support, we are available by telephone or via our contact form.

Care tip: The seal should only be cleaned with chlorine-free, non-alkaline cleaning agents. Avoid using aggressive cleaning agents that contain chlorine, as well as abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these attack the plastic. Lukewarm water combined with soft microfibre cloths is sufficient for this to maintain the transparent design and water repellency in the long term.
